Times are changing

Well, after many thoughts, I decided it was time to go to a different doctor. The new doctor actually had my blood tested to make sure I needed to be on a blood sugar medication (which is what they are supposed to have you do), and then since I couldn't tolerate glucophage very well, had me try avandia instead.

Avandia has the double bonus of making you ovulate more regularly, which, if you want to get pregnant is a GOOD thing, right? ;)

In October I had a surgery to remove a pedunculated cyst on my uterus, and had my fallopian tubes flushed out with methyline blue to make sure that they weren't blocked or plugged with gunk.

Then, November, I had a cycle, and then, in December I found out I was PREGNANT! Woot!!

I am sticking with the doctor I changed to, since he was more willing to work with me on things, and didn't tell me that there was basically NO HOPE in me EVER getting pregnant again, or that my ovaries weren't producing good eggs.

In fact, when I called the office to see if I should still take avandia and make my first prenatal appointment, the nurse talked to the doctor and then told me that I could stop taking the avandia, and that the doctor was VERY excited about my news. He remembered me. This is a doctor who has hundreds if not thousands of patients I am sure, and that he could remember me, and my situation...well, that says a lot!
