I didn't think I would get to go see this movie in the theatre. Mainly because, while my hubby is very tolerant of "chick flicks," this one was over the top even for him. So, I got to go with two of my sisters-in-law. It was SO fun! And no, there was not even ONE guy in the whole theatre.
Anyway, I really liked the first movie, and even read all the books, so when I heard this movie was coming out, I wondered if it would be as good as the first one, or even come close to what the books are like. The reviews were iffy, but most reviews of chick flicks aren't all that great, so I knew I couldn't base my opinion off of that.
Can I just say, this movie was SOOOOO good! I left feeling like I had just finished reading a really good book. Unlike the first movie, which pretty much stuck with one book, this movie combined the next three books. So, they had a lot of things to cover, and kind of smushed some of the events that happen in the books. I thought they did it in a very creative way, and pulled it off very nicely.
I will definitely be tempted to buy this movie. It was so...wow. I just can't say enough how much I enjoyed seeing this movie. The actresses all did a superb job.
Go see it!
