Indiana Jones and the Crystal Skull movie review...

Okay, I'll admit that I was really looking forward to seeing this movie. I had hoped that the critics were wrong, and that they were just being annoying and negative like they tend to be a lot of the time, but I have to say that this time, they were RIGHT!

While, some of the movie wasn't too bad, and somewhat funny with it's Indiana Jones charm, a lot of the movie was just plain bizarre. The whole tie in with alien crystal skulls and taking the one that was missing back, just struck me as weird and gave me the heebie jeebies.

A few parts made you wonder if there would be yet another sequel, involving the ark of the covenant, that just "happens" to be in a box conveniently located where it gets splintered when the whole scene at Area 51 takes place.

I did like, however, that at the end of the movie when they are talking about the city of gold and whether there really was one or not, that gold is linked with the word treasure, and Indiana says something rather profound about their treasure being knowledge.
