Body Talk

The second homeopathic thing I tried was body talk. I only went to one session, but it was mainly because I forgot to set up another one and then never did. The lady that I went to for body talk then moved away, and there you go.

The body talk session that I went to was very relaxing though, and interesting. Body talk is different from cranio-sacral therapy in that it doesn't just focus on the flow of your cerebral-spinal fluid. The person doing the body talk muscle tests you (muscle testing is where they get permission from your body to test your muscles to get a yes or no answer to a question. The theory is that your body can't lie, so it will always tell you what it thinks is the truth.) Anyway, they muscle test, usually by trying to press your whole arm down, and ask your body a lot of questions. Sometimes they talk loud enough for you to hear, sometimes not. Then they adjust what needs to be adjusted by tapping it out of you. This is done by lightly tapping on your sternum, then your collar bone, and then at different areas on your head. Mind you, this is just a very nutshell basic description of all that body talk entails.

Body talk, like cranio-sacral therapy has helped many people. The thing that has been most impressive to me about homeopathic therapies is that they can help you get rid of negative emotions, in some cases physical things that are going on (like a child who has ADD or Autism), food allergies, etc... things that in many cases are untreatable by the western medical world, or the treatments aren't much better than the illness.

Body talk for me was a very relaxing experience. I left feeling very at peace and refreshed.
