Hello Kitty fan

Yeah, I'll admit it, I'm a Hello Kitty fan. I think I've liked Hello Kitty since the mid-80's, which would have put me in elementary school. I never got anything Hello Kitty though. I don't know if it's because it was expensive (with 6 siblings, pretty much everything is expensive), or because I hadn't convinced my mom that it really was something that I REALLY REALLY wanted.

Either way, I didn't end up with anything Hello Kitty until I had my daughter. She has a Hello Kitty coat, a Hello Kitty backpack, Hello Kitty cartoons, Hello Kitty books, a little Hello Kitty dollhouse, some Hello Kitty clothes...you get the idea. Am I living vicariously through my daughter? Probably. Not to worry though, I know it sounds like all my daughter has are Hello Kitty things, she really doesn't. Just enough to make her want more. :)

Granted, I think some people go a little over board. I mean, I saw a picture of a Hello Kitty exhaust pipe, and while I have to admit it is somewhat cool, I don't think I would put it on my car...well...okay maybe I would, but I wouldn't spend the money for it...what am I saying, it's cool right? Who came up with it!!

Then of course there is the Hello Kitty wedding gown...I'm a bit more traditional in this area, so to me it's a little too much.

But, to each his own, I suppose. I'm sure there are people that like it, or they wouldn't have it!

Then there's my favorite..the Hello Kitty car. It looks like a smartcar, but I guess it's made by Mitsubishi.

SWEET right?!

I am always amazed by all the different things that they have made for Hello Kitty.
