So, I have to wonder, who is going to win American Idol this year? Personally, I think the final two will be between David Archuleta and David Cook. Here's why...
They are both absolutely amazing vocalists. Archuleta has a huge teenage fan base, because he is well, a teen. However, Cook just wows me with his creativity. He takes these songs that have been around so long that they seem next to impossible to recreate and have people like them, but he does it in such a way that people LOVE it!!! Myself included.
The past few weeks, I have felt that Archuleta's performances have been okay. He can sing so much better than he has been! I didn't really care for his versions of either Neil Diamond song (and I am a Neil Diamond fan). I think it would have been better if he'd just sung them the original way and made them awesome that way. With his voice, he could have totally pulled it off and sounded amazing.
David Cook...wow, what can I say. He is one talented man. I love pretty much everything he decides to sing...minus the "inspirational" song. That one was kind of weird.
Is it just me or have almost all the top 10 been really talented this year? I don't think I've ever seen so many contestants play the piano, the guitar, or other. It has been so cool!
